As a result, customers have asked us to assist with their burgeoning Data Science problems. Our team takes a pragmatic approach, defining Data Science as the intersection of technical expertise, business acumen, and soft skills to solve business problems with data.

A Day in the Life
You'll start your day at a customer location near our offices, checking for important items that have come up. If not, you'll improve a dashboard or data product, or produce a weekly output the customer expects. You'll use R or Python extensively, along with Git, Mongo, commercial software, and other usual tools. Once a week, you'll attend a team meeting with four others to prioritize tasks and interact with the team several times daily.

What You Bring to the Table
We're hiring data professionals across various skill levels and projects, looking for the best fit. All data scientists need proficiency in scripting languages like R or Python, experience with data science techniques, a B.S. degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields, and relevant project experience. Important skills include exceptional interpersonal skills, experience with Java, C, SQL/NoSQL, Spark, Hadoop, and familiarity with Docker, GitLab, and React.

Total Compensation Package
Our package was designed to reward members for their hard work, share in our success, provide long-term career opportunities, and support themselves and dependents through a robust benefits package. This includes a competitive base salary, health, life/disability insurance, 401k, paid time off, professional development, and generous bonus programs. The projected pay range for these positions is:
  • Entry-level: $95,000 - $135,000
  • Mid-level: $110,000 - $155,000
  • Senior-level: $135,000 - $235,000
Some additional perks and benefits include up to 12% in 401k contributions, up to 5 weeks of leave, comprehensive health insurance, ongoing education funding, company branded merchandise, and access to state-of-the-art gym facilities.
