Job Description

The Data Science Finance Expert will focus on applying advanced analytics and data science to enhance financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive initiatives across Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Planning, and Global Business Units. This role requires a solid foundation in finance combined with advanced analytical capabilities to deliver actionable insights that inform leadership decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement advanced financial analytics solutions using predictive modeling, scenario analyses, and AI/machine learning techniques.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN FINANCIAL DATA MODELS AND DECISION-SUPPORT TOOLS USING POWER BI, EXCEL, AND OTHER ADVANCED ANALYTICS PLATFORMS, DRIVING INSIGHTS INTO PROFITABILITY, BUDGETING, AND FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE.
  • Leverage advanced analytics to diagnose and address financial operations and planning challenges, such as cash flow forecasting, financial planning, and analyzing operational data for strategic improvements.
  • Apply predictive and prescriptive analytics to enhance financial planning and forecasting processes, generating actionable insights and creating models to guide strategic decision making.
  • Identify opportunities to use advanced analytics to uncover insights that shape organizational goals and strategic direction.
  • Develop self-service analytics resources to enable teams to independently explore business performance and risk factors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong foundation in finance with demonstrated expertise in data science, statistics, as well as data and financial modeling.
  • Proficient with Power BI and Excel; familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is preferred.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data and analytical findings into actionable insights for finance and business stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and convey analytical results to non-technical audiences.
Estimated Salary Range: $119,780 - $182,670 annuallyTotal Rewards/Benefits
