We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team at Pantheon Data as a Data Governance Strategist. This role will play a critical part in defining and implementing data governance policies and strategies, with a focus on unifying master data across the enterprise.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data governance practices and supporting technologies. They will be able to translate data governance principles and objectives into concrete plans of action that support the Navy's HR strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Governance Policy Development: Collaborate with key stakeholders within the US Navy to understand and define data governance requirements and objectives.
  • Data Stewardship: Define roles and clear policies for data stewardship of master data elements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other data strategy areas, including Data Architecture, Data Integration, and Business Intelligence teams.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Governance Specialist or similar role, with a minimum of 8 years of experience defining and implementing data governance policies and strategies.
  • Strong expertise in data governance principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Estimated Salary Range: $170,000 - $200,000 per year

This salary range is based on the location, industry standards, and the level of experience required for this position.
