Restaurant Operations Leader

Position Overview:

This is a pivotal role within our corporate structure.

The individual will be primarily accountable for the daily recruitment, onboarding, and training of new personnel, along with the direct oversight of restaurant staff and delivery personnel. This includes the authority to implement corrective measures, up to and including termination of employment, while also supporting the restaurant's daily functions to ensure the team meets the highest quality and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage shift operations, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and development of restaurant team members and delivery drivers.
  • Ensure that all products delivered meet the company's quality standards and accurately reflect customer orders.
  • Maintain food safety certifications for all team members and ensure the restaurant adheres to cleanliness and safety protocols.
  • Supervise the activities of all non-exempt restaurant team members, including shift leaders and delivery drivers, during assigned shifts.
  • In the absence of the General Manager, assume responsibility for all operational functions to maintain high-quality service and product delivery.
  • Actively recruit customer-oriented team members and maintain appropriate staffing levels based on projected sales.
  • Document performance issues and take necessary disciplinary actions when required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills with proven customer service experience.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
  • Dependability and reliability in completing tasks and commitments.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
  • Previous experience in restaurant management or supervision is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Valid food service certifications and cash management skills are necessary.
  • Bilingual capabilities may be beneficial in certain markets.
