Position Responsibilities:

  • Participate actively in scheduled treatment team meetings.
  • Offer insights based on personal experience while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with referral sources as necessary.
  • Provide updates regarding clients' progress.
  • Conduct concurrent reviews for referral sources as instructed by the supervisor.
  • Ensure timely completion of medical record documentation.
  • Document all interactions with clients and relevant contacts.
  • Engage in one or more Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) teams annually.
  • Contribute to the peer record review process.
  • Foster productive and professional relationships across all disciplines.
  • Keep supervisors informed of relevant developments.
  • Remain open to feedback and supervision.

Candidate Profile:
Must possess a Certified Peer Specialist certificate. An associate degree in a relevant Human Services field is preferred.

Exhibits professionalism, leadership, and confidentiality. Strong social communication skills, time management, and organizational abilities are essential. Must be adept at effective communication and interaction with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to analyze information and solve problems collaboratively. Maintains professionalism and impartiality in all interactions. Demonstrates consistency with clients, staff, visitors, and the public. Capable of managing crisis situations with composure and making objective, ethical decisions. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as is the ability to foster a team-oriented environment and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
