Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and operate ultrasound equipment to provide accurate and reliable results.
- Prepare the examination room and equipment for each procedure, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients.
- Interact with patients, medical staff, and other hospital personnel in a professional and courteous manner, reflecting the values of Swedish Medical Center.
- Assist in collecting data for performance improvement initiatives and conducting quality control checks on equipment.
- Perform secondary duties, including clerical tasks, receptionist duties, and general cleaning, as needed.
- Current ARDMS certification with Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
- Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
- Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience.
- Familiarity with ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures, with a high degree of manual, critical thinking, and dexterity skills.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
