Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sonographer II to join our team at Swedish Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, and preparing the room with necessary equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain technical skills to minimize hazards and maximize patient safety
  • Prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies for procedures
  • Provide excellent patient care and interact positively with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel
  • Assist with clerical duties, receptionist tasks, and scheduling patients
Requirements
  • Current ARDMS certification with Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
  • Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program
  • Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience
  • Familiarity with majority of ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures
