Join Our Team as a Sonographer II PRN

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer II PRN to join our team at HCA HealthONE Swedish. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role

As a Sonographer II PRN, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, and preparing the room with necessary equipment and supplies. You will also be expected to positively reflect concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel, supporting the Mission, Vision, and Values of our company.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies
  • Interact with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel in a positive and considerate manner
  • Assist in collecting data for PI monitors and conducting QC on equipment
  • Perform secondary duties such as clerical tasks, receptionist duties, answering phones, scheduling patients, ordering supplies, stocking the department, maintaining files, and general cleaning
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Current ARDMS certification with both Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program
  • Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience
  • Familiarity with the majority of ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures
  • High degree of manual, critical thinking skills, and dexterity skills necessary for operation of equipment and patient care
