SUMMARY

Overseeing the Business Intelligence (BI) Architecture and Engineering division tasked with the design and upkeep of the BI framework, which encompasses databases, data warehousing, ETL processes, and tool management. Establishing system parameters and objectives to align with the BI vision, addressing intricate challenges, and delivering strategic insights to the BI leadership team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Generate and present status reports.
  • Direct the design of the BI infrastructure framework.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to refine processes.
  • Promote global design and development standards.
  • Formulate requirement definitions for complex BI systems.
  • Facilitate business Data Governance and analytical projects.
  • Investigate and evaluate third-party software and databases.
  • Construct data warehouse process models.
  • Establish standards for database architecture.
  • Develop comprehensive implementation plans and coordinate resources.
  • Set documentation standards and support frameworks.
  • Assign operational tasks to team members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, business intelligence, STEM, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in data warehouse architecture, preferably within the healthcare sector.

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: EPIC certifications in Caboodle/Clarity development or the capability to obtain certification. Data warehouse certifications from Microsoft or Oracle are recommended.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Comprehensive understanding of relational database principles, data warehousing, and data modeling.
  • Proficient in SQL.
  • Experience in Data Transformation and Cleansing.
  • Experience collaborating with Database Administrators.
  • Practical experience in evaluating and enhancing data structures.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Capability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Experience in leading technical teams and mentoring personnel.
  • Conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Adept at responding to inquiries and presenting information effectively.
