Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personnel Security Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team at Advantage SCI, LLC. As a key member of our security team, you will provide critical support to our government customers by assisting with personnel security functions, including reviewing investigative forms, providing technical assistance, and maintaining personnel security reference materials.

This is a full-time opportunity that requires a minimum of three years of directly related experience performing administrative support in personnel security functions. If you have a strong background in security customer service or help desk support, we encourage you to apply.

As a Personnel Security Help Desk Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical assistance to applicants and requesting or investigating offices to fill gaps in needed information.
  • Reviewing e-QIP requests online and providing assistance with the application process.
  • Maintaining a proficient working knowledge of the e-QIP system and identifying and elevating issues relative to system-wide and case-specific e-QIP related issues.
  • Assisting in providing formal and informal training in the utilization of supported systems and technologies necessary for performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with DHS policy and procedure for handling Privacy Act protected and Sensitive Personally Identifying Information.

Working Conditions:

  • The duties of this position are primarily performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
  • Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily.
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to walk upstairs and long distances without assistance.
