Tact Staff is seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in ICU - Intensive Care Unit for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

The Critical Care RN is accountable for delivering exceptional patient care through the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to ensure clarity of the treatment plan for staff and patients.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to the diverse needs of patients, including physical, spiritual, and emotional aspects, while evaluating their response to care.
  • Support and advocate for organizational initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of patient care.
  • Manage departmental and patient activities efficiently to ensure well-organized and proficient care delivery.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients, families, colleagues, and other healthcare team members, fostering a professional and respectful environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in Critical Care within a similar healthcare environment.
  • Previous travel nursing experience is required.
  • Education: Minimum of a 2-Year Degree; a 4-Year Degree is preferred.
  • Current RN Licensure is mandatory.
  • Required Certifications: NIH, BLS, and ACLS (AHA).
  • Skills Required: Proficient in interpreting dysrhythmias and caring for ventilated patients.
