- UT Health Tyler, a leading hospital in our network, boasts 502 licensed beds with a focus on advanced acute care. Our facility features a 24-hour emergency department with a Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, over 500 physicians, and a wide range of subspecialty groups.

The RNFA collaborates with and follows the guidance of the surgeon during the intraoperative phase of the surgical experience.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited first assistant training program.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Texas.
- CNOR certification.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ACLS certification is preferred.
