We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at UT Health North Campus Tyler. As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Implementation and Evaluation: Implement care plans and evaluate patient outcomes to ensure the highest level of care.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies.
- Technical Procedures: Perform routine technical procedures and skills in the specialty area of emergency nursing.
- Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the emergency department.
- Licensure: Current RN license to practice in Texas.
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, and TNCC preferred at hire, required within 6 months of hiring.
- Bilingual: Bilingual skills a plus.
- EMR Experience: Experience with electronic medical records.
- Specialized Skills: Advanced, specialized nursing skills as appropriate to the nature of medical activity.
