Job Title: General Manager

Community Choice Financial Family of Brands is seeking a results-driven General Manager to oversee the success of our stores and teams. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for setting the bar high for performance and customer service, providing ongoing coaching and training to your team, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coach, lead, and develop all store employees to achieve new business and increase store growth.
  • Lead the charge in identifying local marketing strategies, using business-to-business partnership opportunities, and hosting community events to drive growth and revenue.
  • Enforce adherence to quality standards, procedures, and local and state laws and regulations.
  • Supervise and maintain office security, including cash management and loss prevention.
  • Examine, evaluate, and process loan/pawn applications and transactions, and assess risk within established limits.
  • Participate in the selection, review, hiring, and retention of new employees.
  • Develop work schedules in accordance with budget, workloads, and store needs.
  • Handle complex customer situations with integrity and professionalism.
  • Monitor and maintain internal and external store appearance, and address basic facilities needs.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum two years of experience and proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, financial, service, or related industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
  • Background check required (subject to applicable law).
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time, the ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • Associate degree or higher.
  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
