Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Pacific Monarch Hotel in Waikiki. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, controlling costs, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will work closely with our RevGen team to develop revenue-generating strategies and lead our sales and marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Meet or exceed established budgetary guidelines for the hotel.
- Protect and enhance the value of all hotel assets through appropriate programs in maintenance, security, and housekeeping.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all period-end financial statements and reports.
- Develop action plans to maximize RevPar and control operating expenses.
- Maintain credit policies in sales, reservations, and front desk.
- Conduct credit meetings, supervise the collection of major accounts, and review aging reports.
- Develop and supervise programs that promote a positive work environment for all employees.
- Perform other tasks associated with achieving the financial performance and goals of the organization.
- Minimum of four (4) years experience as General Manager preferred.
- Strong preference for experience in the Hawaii market.
- Experience with AOAO, HOA preferred.
- Expertise in hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, and budget forecasting.
- Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and ensure accomplishment of goals.
