Service Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Service Equipment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service abilities and several years of technical experience.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Service Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering an Exceptional Client Experience by providing on-site repairs and installations for various dental equipment. Your strong relationship-building and communication skills will be essential for success in this role.
- Deliver Exceptional Client Service: Build relationships and perform timely repairs and installations for both basic and complex equipment/projects.
- Support Company Profitability: Complete all service orders during the visit and discuss the work performed and parts used with the client before leaving.
- Execute Impressive Repairs: Troubleshoot and perform repairs that ensure operational continuity, while educating office staff on equipment usage and maintenance.
- Lead Successful Installations: Oversee installation teams, ensuring timely project completion and addressing any final details during the last visit.
- Prioritize Safety: Maintain awareness of safety protocols for yourself and others, using appropriate personal protective equipment and following safe jobsite practices.
- Communicate Effectively: Engage with internal and external customers in a timely, polite, and professional manner regarding assignment progress.
- Adhere to Policies: Follow all company policies, including those related to fleet management and vehicle maintenance.
- Maintain Preparedness: Keep van inventory levels according to company policy and ensure tools are in good working condition.
- Demonstrate Professional Growth: Attend training sessions and meetings as scheduled, proactively seeking assistance and meeting training milestones.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience.
- At least 3 years of technical experience with various equipment.
- Ability to travel as needed for client visits and training sessions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational training in mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, or military technical training.
- Experience leading projects.
- Background in the dental field.
Salary Information:
Salary range of $60,000 to $80,000, with eligibility for quarterly productivity bonuses and annual profit sharing. Offers will be based on the candidate's unique skills, experience, and internal equity.
