Full Time Lumber Yard Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lumber Yard Associate to join our team at Gillman Home Center. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring efficient yard operations, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading lumber and building materials, ensuring accurate and efficient loading and unloading processes.
- Operate equipment, such as forklifts and trucks, to transport materials and maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and trucks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of materials and supplies.
- Participate in other yard operations, including maintaining store grounds, assisting customers, and performing cycle counts.
- Ensure a safe working environment, identifying and reporting any safety issues or concerns to management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Forklift experience a plus.
