Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in safety, quality, and housekeeping programs to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Perform job tasks to reduce environmental impact and adhere to environmental regulations and recycling procedures.
- Comply with all plant rules, safety regulations, and job hazard analysis requirements.
- Conduct visual and dimensional checks of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Review CMM data to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Approve parts for release to production.
- Place castings on hold when not acceptable or suspect.
- Complete all required paperwork with great accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Assist production supervisors and engineers in resolving problems.
- Perform roaming inspections on the die cast and finish floors.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
