Job Title: Control Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Control Engineer to join our team at Automationtechies in Orlando, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and improving process control systems, supporting equipment installation, troubleshooting, and applying automation advancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams and customers to define project requirements and solutions.
- Support during installation, commissioning, and operational phases.
- Troubleshoot process control and automation issues.
- Stay updated on advancements in industrial automation and apply them to improve equipment performance.
- Develop and evolve PLC/PC-based process control systems and digital solutions.
- Serve as a resource for process controls for both customers and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering (Master's degree or dual in computer science preferred).
- 2–10 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of C++, Rockwell Automation, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, and electrical components.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., UL, NEC, NFPA, CSA, IEC) is desirable.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel (up to 25%).
