About the Role

As a Senior Building Automation Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge HVAC control systems. You'll work closely with our team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers' sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop engineered drawings for HVAC control systems
  • Review specifications and contract drawings for assigned projects
  • Provide accurate drawings for HVAC control systems and schematics using Visio
  • Sizing control valves, dampers, air flow stations, and other HVAC system components
  • Experience designing systems with typical DDC control lines such as Schneider Electric, Tridium, or similar
  • Write and understand the sequence of operations for HVAC control systems
  • Assemble submittals and O&Ms for projects
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other STEM field with 3-5 years' experience in relevant field
  • 4+ years' experience in controls design engineering or 8+ years as a controls technician
  • Sound knowledge of electrical circuits, HVAC, sensors, and signal types, and controls required
  • Familiarity with common control sequences, including ASHRAE Guideline 36P
  • Demonstrated capability drafting control drawings in Visio, AutoCAD, or equivalent
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite required
