Key Responsibilities:

Develop software automation solutions to configure and monitor networking devices

Work directly with the Network team to streamline existing processes and design new workflows via network automation for firewalls, servers, and switching hardware to maximize network efficiency and security

Perform daily checks on outstanding project tasks and keep the team updated with completed milestones

Identify, monitor, and communicate to management task performance risks, issues, problems, and participate in the development and implementation of mitigations or provide hands-on assistance as needed

Field questions from team members and stakeholders and provide the necessary support to remove roadblocks and keep projects moving forward

Design and execution of acceptance testing strategies

Generate system-level documentation and manuals

Maintain configuration management of hardware and software documentation

Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established corporate policy, procedures, training

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in software development, Network-centric software development experience preferred

2+ years' experience with scripting languages, deployment orchestration, and version control, Ansible, Python, YAML, JSON experience preferred

Experience with concepts around data management including IaC and Source of Truth strategy preferred, Knowledge and experience working with RESTful API preferred

Experience with wireless LAN technologies preferred, Strong documentation skills, Solid understanding of change control processes
