Job Summary

TTL Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Materials Field Technician to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a key member of our engineering design firm, you will be responsible for monitoring, observing, and sampling materials used in construction work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine field and laboratory tests and inspections to verify conformity with construction plans and specifications
  • Perform accurate computations and maintain cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, and contractors
  • Prepare daily reports and data sheets
  • Operate with close to moderate supervision
Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree with an emphasis in physical sciences and/or math preferred
  • Ability to professionally communicate both orally and in writing
  • Good driving record
  • Perform heavy lifting of 50 or more pounds
  • Work in outdoor (hot or cold) environments
  • One year of testing experience in soil, concrete, earthwork, and asphalt preferred (but not required)
