Job Summary

Orlando Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Manager to oversee the delivery of patient access services across multiple locations. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and operational expertise to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal revenue cycle performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement departmental goals and objectives to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Plan, organize, and direct department activities to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures for department operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Orlando Health standards.
  • Manage staff on-site, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance and development.
  • Review departmental performance and implement changes to improve services, simplify workflows, and increase physician and patient satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with administration, physicians, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate statistical information and establish effective intra/interdepartmental communication.
  • Network with site facilities to build relationships and ensure consistency across all Orlando Health locations.
  • Participate in administrative and management meetings, providing input and expertise as needed.
  • Develop and maintain records, reports, and files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Orlando Health standards.
  • Establish and maintain safety, policies, procedures, objectives, and infection control in the department.
  • Maintain good payer relationships and ensure effective communication with external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
  • Four years of Patient Access (Patient Business) experience, with at least one year of supervisory, lead, or preceptor experience.
