Job Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is in search of a Patient Access Coordinator for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is pivotal within a reputable Pharmaceutical Solutions Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients in obtaining necessary medications and therapies.
  • Ensure the timely progression of cases through the required processes.
  • Conduct benefit investigations by reaching out to payors to confirm patient insurance details.
  • Navigate intricate reimbursement challenges and identify resources to address these issues.
  • Verify patient-specific benefits, documenting coverage, cost-sharing, and access options.
  • Identify coverage limitations and provide guidance on expediting patient access.
  • Document and initiate the prior authorization process along with claims appeals.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience working with healthcare providers regarding health insurance requirements.
  • Background in pharmacy or call center operations.
  • Familiarity with enrollment, pre-assessment, and benefits processes.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and proficiency in grammar.

Employment Type: Contract to Hire; potential for remote work after initial onsite days.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
