Position Summary: This full-time salaried role offers a competitive salary range of $48,000 to $50,000, along with comprehensive benefits. The position is based in Albuquerque, NM, at Hotel Chaco, and collaborates closely with the Hotel General Manager and the Corporate Accounting Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily income audits to ensure accurate posting of revenues from Front Desk, Food and Beverage, and Spa services.
  • Review and document complimentary items.
  • Reconcile cash and credit card settlements.
  • Prepare daily cash deposits and assist with cash management tasks for sister properties.
  • Oversee petty cash management.
  • Perform monthly audits of house banks and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor guest ledgers and outstanding balances.
  • Code and obtain approvals for incoming Accounts Payable invoices, forwarding them to Corporate A/P for processing.
  • Verify and submit payroll information for tipped employees to the Corporate Payroll department on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Support the General Manager in forecasting using established software tools.
  • Assist in reviewing the monthly General Ledger and financial statements prepared by the Corporate Controller.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, including accounts payable, cash handling, and general ledger or P&L management.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Possess a positive, creative mindset with a self-starter attitude, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • A commitment to teamwork and active participation in hotel management.
