Position Summary: This full-time salaried role offers a competitive salary range of $48,000 to $50,000, along with comprehensive benefits. The position is based in Albuquerque, NM, at Hotel Chaco, and collaborates closely with the Hotel General Manager and the Corporate Accounting Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily income audits to ensure accurate posting of revenues from Front Desk, Food and Beverage, and Spa services.
- Review and document complimentary items.
- Reconcile cash and credit card settlements.
- Prepare daily cash deposits and assist with cash management tasks for sister properties.
- Oversee petty cash management.
- Perform monthly audits of house banks and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor guest ledgers and outstanding balances.
- Code and obtain approvals for incoming Accounts Payable invoices, forwarding them to Corporate A/P for processing.
- Verify and submit payroll information for tipped employees to the Corporate Payroll department on a bi-weekly basis.
- Support the General Manager in forecasting using established software tools.
- Assist in reviewing the monthly General Ledger and financial statements prepared by the Corporate Controller.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, including accounts payable, cash handling, and general ledger or P&L management.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Possess a positive, creative mindset with a self-starter attitude, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- A commitment to teamwork and active participation in hotel management.
