Respiratory Therapy Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to join our team at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital. As a key member of our cardiopulmonary services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the department and providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the respiratory therapy team, ensuring that procedures and policies are met in full accordance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve departmental productivity and minimize costs.
- Collaborate with other medical functions to coordinate the provision of respiratory care services.
- Provide technical guidance and support to department personnel, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and develop plans for staff development and improvement.
- Assist with the development and implementation of respiratory care protocols and procedures.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist with an Associate Degree.
HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital offering a full range of services, including interventional and therapeutic care, labor/delivery, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, adult and pediatric emergency services, and diagnostic services. We are a designated Certified Primary Stroke Center and a Level II Trauma Center, verified by the American College of Surgeons. Our Physical Rehabilitation Center is CARF accredited, and we offer a freestanding ER in Vero Beach.
