Respiratory Therapy Supervisor

The Respiratory Therapy Supervisor is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for overseeing the performance of our cardiopulmonary staff and ensuring that procedures and policies are met with the highest level of quality and care.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop the cardiopulmonary staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Collaborate with the Director to orient new employees, educate and assess skills competency, and conduct yearly evaluations of current staff.
- Assist with performance improvement initiatives, scheduling, and special projects to optimize department efficiency and productivity.
- Provide technical expertise and support to department personnel, ensuring the highest level of respiratory care services.
- Evaluate and monitor services to ensure quality care to patients, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist.
- Associate Degree.
HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital offering a full range of services, including interventional and therapeutic care, labor/delivery, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, adult and pediatric emergency services, and diagnostic services. We are a designated Certified Primary Stroke Center, a Level II Trauma Center, and a CARF-accredited Physical Rehabilitation Center.
