We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital. As a vital member of our patient care team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
- Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital that provides interventional and therapeutic care, including open-heart surgery. Our hospital is a designated Certified Primary Stroke Center and offers a range of services, including labor/delivery, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, adult and pediatric emergency services, and diagnostic services.
