About the Role

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at Providence Extended Care. As a collaborative member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Assist with care and interventions, including life engagement and supervision of team members
  • Monitor implementation of care plans and coordinate referrals to other healthcare team members
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Alaska Licensed Practical Nurse upon hire
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Municipality of Anchorage food handler permit or ability to attain certification within 21 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months nursing experience in a healthcare facility (acute care, long term care, rehabilitation center)
  • Supervision/leadership experience
