Responsibilities- Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and monitoring vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care, including referrals to specialists and other healthcare services.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Alaska Registered Nurse License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 6 months of nursing experience in a healthcare facility.
- Supervision or leadership experience.
