Job Overview

CloudShape is seeking a highly skilled Web Application Administrator to join our growing team. As a key member of our IT & Engineering Portfolio, you will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and upgrading web applications hosted on various application server platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, maintain, and upgrade web applications on various application server platforms.
  • Configure and manage SSL certificates for web application servers.
  • Provide user support and assistance, handling user inquiries, access requests, and web application-related issues.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to web applications using strong problem-solving skills.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for web application configurations and procedures.
  • Ensure web application security principles and practices are followed.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience is required for these positions. These positions can be filled at multiple levels.
  • Strong understanding of web application management, including installation, configuration, and routine maintenance of one or more of the following web application platforms: IIS, Apache Tomcat, Apache Web Server, or RedHat.
  • Proficiency in various operating systems, including Windows and Linux, and their administration.
  • US Citizen with an active secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with Web Application Firewall integration or configuration such as Akamai, Barracuda or AWS WAF.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow for IT service management and incident tracking.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps for version control, continuous integration, and deployment.
  • Understanding of SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) or Single Sign-On (SSO) for secure user authentication and authorization in web applications.
