Job Overview

We are in search of a Mid-level Web-Based Application Engineer to contribute to our innovative projects. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop distinctive web applications that meet client specifications.

Work Environment: On-site in Washington, DC (telework not available)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop software solutions to automate business processes or create applications using various programming languages, predominantly Java.
  • Enhance and modify existing software applications.
  • Identify and rectify software bugs through thorough testing.
  • Utilize code libraries to streamline development and expedite the application creation process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in computer science or related fields.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Strong command of programming languages including Java, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, and proficiency in Java API for XML Web Services (JAX-WS), REST, and other technologies.
  • Significant experience in developing BI Dashboards using HTML5 and crafting complex queries in Oracle, SQL Server, and Access. Familiarity with .NET technologies and SAS is advantageous.
  • Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
