Cloudshape is experiencing significant growth within our IT & Engineering Portfolio. We are currently in search of a skilled Web Application Administrator to enhance our expanding team. This role entails the deployment, maintenance, and upgrading of web applications across various application server platforms.

To qualify for this role, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an active secret security clearance.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience is necessary for these roles, which can be filled at various levels:
    • Junior Level: Four (4) years of relevant experience.
    • Mid Level: Eight (8) years of relevant experience.
    • Senior Level: Twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of web application management, including the installation, configuration, and routine upkeep of platforms such as IIS, Apache Tomcat, Apache Web Server, or RedHat.
  • Proficiency in operating systems, including Windows and Linux, along with their administration.
  • Experience in configuring and managing SSL certificates for web application servers.
  • Familiarity with application load balancers and their balancing strategies.
  • Experience in providing user support, addressing inquiries, access requests, and web application-related issues.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve web application issues.
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation for web application configurations and procedures.
  • Basic understanding of web application security principles and practices.
  • U.S. Citizenship with an active secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with Web Application Firewall integration or configuration, including Akamai, Barracuda, or AWS WAF.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow for IT service management and incident tracking.
  • Understanding of Azure DevOps for version control, continuous integration, and deployment.
  • Knowledge of SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) or Single Sign-On (SSO) for secure user authentication and authorization in web applications.

What to Expect as a New Team Member:

  • First 30 Days: Onboarding activities will include training requirements, program overviews, system familiarization, and department-specific training to establish a solid foundation. Introductions to management and team leads will provide insight into team dynamics and identify key areas for contribution.
  • Days 30 to 90: Further integration into daily activities with a team lead to guide the new member. Tasks will be assigned to ensure a suitable pace for process and system assimilation.
  • Day 90 and Beyond: Involvement in mission-driven projects and opportunities for collaboration in a cross-functional team environment. This role will allow for leadership in daily operations while maximizing value for our clients.
