Fundraising Vice President, Development

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising Vice President, Development to join our team at the Alzheimer's Association. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for driving success and achieving revenue goals through positive engagement with staff and community volunteer leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key community leaders and C-Suite corporate partners effectively.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive development strategies and goals that align with the Association's strategic plan and deliver measurable results.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of professional development staff to build successful event growth strategies through community and volunteer engagement.
  • Work closely with Chapter and cross-functional leadership to develop ambitious, comprehensive development strategies and goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven success at building sustainable corporate and community relationships that contribute to achieving event revenue goals, greater community participation, and heightened brand awareness.
  • Successful recruitment, management, and coaching of volunteers to effectively implement best and proven practices to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple volunteer-led mass-market events simultaneously that have resulted in revenue growth year over year.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to manage event budgets, train volunteers, and work to set timelines and milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals or 3-5 years of successful experience meeting sales targets.
