- Monitors adherence to safety regulations and compliance with TSA, DOT, USPS, and OSHA standards, as well as all relevant laws.
- Implements company policies and procedures, including corrective actions, while advocating for Unifi's stance on Equal Employment Opportunity, Anti-Harassment, and diversity initiatives.
- Assists with recruitment, administrative tasks, payroll, employee scheduling, and general office responsibilities.
- Evaluates staffing levels, overtime usage, and the operational and financial performance of the assigned shift or station.
- Encourages team-building efforts and engages in coaching and mentoring to inspire and develop team members.
- Ensures clear and comprehensive communication of information.
- Performs additional duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related discipline is preferred. Previous leadership experience is advantageous.- Proficient in problem-solving and influencing individuals across various functional areas.
- Exceptional facilitator and communicator; drives innovation through teaching, consensus-building, and project execution.
- Demonstrates initiative and excels in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Decisive thinker with excellent analytical capabilities.
- Skilled in managing multiple priorities and proactively initiating tasks within their area of expertise.
Must be at least 18 years old; eligible to work in the United States; capable of passing pre-employment drug screening, FBI criminal background checks, and USPS background checks; and must complete ramp and SIDA training to secure airport authority identification security badge.LICENSE(S): A valid Driver's License is required for operating ground support equipment.
