About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Professional to join our team at AtriCure. As a Cardiac Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting our innovative technologies for the treatment of Afib and related conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting, qualifying, and closing direct sales of AtriCure's ablation, left atrial appendage (AtriClip) and cryo nerve block technologies in Cardiothoracic operating room and related departments within hospitals.
  • Developing, implementing, and executing a strategic sales plan for designated territory to achieve assigned targets.
  • Continually identifying new customers, contacts, and opportunities via networking and collaboration in and outside of the organization and territory.
  • Increasing penetration and adoption within existing accounts to build upon and grow the base business.
  • Working closely with the Hybrid Therapies and Cryo Nerve Block teams, along with sales leadership to cross-functionally coordinate activities to achieve corporate sales goals and targeting between all functions and franchises.
  • Collaborating with Marketing and Professional Education to share industry news and trends and receive feedback of the same.
  • Mentoring and partnering with field clinical specialists for best patient and customer outcomes.
  • Attending industry trade shows and events as needed.
  • Managing territory and tracking customer activity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Specific knowledge and selling experience related to cardiac surgery or related space.
  • Cardiac surgical ablation systems highly preferred.
  • Must have a successful track record with sales quota achievement.
  • Must have strong clinical and technical aptitude.
  • Ability to travel 20-30%.
  • Ability to pass account and hospital credentialing processes.
