About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Texas A&M University. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mental health professional to provide direct clinical services and supervise and train clinical trainees.

Job Summary

The TCHATT Clinical Supervisor offers direct clinical services, supervises and trains clinical trainees, and serves as a liaison between patients, physicians, and community resources. They develop, provide, and coordinate care plans and direct services with schools, primary care facilities, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health and clinical services, including detailed psychiatric evaluations, evidence-based psychotherapy, and risk assessment.
  • Assist with intake and referral systems needs of the program.
  • Lead family and patient education, therapy groups, and workshops.
  • Serve as a biopsychosocial expert in multidisciplinary care teams and provide specialty consultation to other healthcare staff.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Counseling and Guidance, Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or related field.
  • At least 6 years of behavioral health-related experience.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-S) in the State of Texas.
