**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at Texas A&M University's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will provide direct clinical services and supervise and train clinical trainees, acting as a liaison between patients, physicians, and community resources.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Counseling and Guidance, Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or other related field and six years of behavioral health-related experience. Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Supervisor Credentials (LCSW-S) in the State of Texas or Licensed Professional Counselor with Supervisor Credentials (LPC-S) in the State of Texas is required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing mental health and clinical services, including detailed psychiatric evaluations and delivering evidence-based psychotherapy
  • Assisting with intake and referral systems needs of the program
  • Leading family and patient education, therapy groups, and workshops
  • Serving as a biopsychosocial expert in multidisciplinary care teams
