Position Overview

As a Senior Associate in the Account Services division at GroupM, you will act as the main liaison between Xaxis and our clientele, focusing on programmatic strategy. Your role will involve direct communication with agency partners and clients to advance business objectives. You will engage in high-level relationships and contribute to new business development. You will take charge of managing strategies across multiple agencies and sectors, ensuring a collaborative partnership approach. This position requires you to be a strategic and analytical leader for significant long-term and short-term initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee programmatic strategy and proposal development for agency clients.
  • Create robust and effective media plans grounded in solid strategies.
  • Present comprehensive media plans and strategies to agencies and clients.
  • Collaborate with trading teams to ensure campaigns are on track and meeting established KPIs; assist with optimizations as needed.
  • Manage reallocations and strategic adjustments promptly.
  • Lead communication with agencies, overseeing campaign strategy, setup, and the kickoff process.
  • Support the analytics team in post-campaign evaluations and communicate results to agency teams and clients.
  • Maintain effective communication with data and inventory partners, fostering positive relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Actively seek opportunities to expand existing business by exploring new channels, implementing innovative strategies, and proposing test and learn initiatives.
  • Contribute to new business presentations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or internships in online marketing or the digital media sector.
  • Experience with digital advertising campaigns, including display, video, programmatic, social, or paid search.
  • Familiarity with one or more ad servers, tag management systems, or trading platforms (e.g., DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Sizmek, Prisma, AppNexus, The Trade Desk, DV360, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager, Amazon, Tealium, Verizon).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in utilizing data to identify and develop business opportunities.
  • Awareness of current trends in the Internet, Publishing, and Technology sectors.
  • Experience with third-party ad tags, conversion tracking pixels, floodlighting, and reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously while effectively prioritizing tasks.
  • Proven track record of building businesses in both digital and traditional media environments.
