We are seeking a skilled Teller to provide exceptional customer service to our valued clients at East West Bank. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for handling financial transactions, maintaining customer relationships, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver top-notch customer service, assisting clients with financial transactions such as cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers, loan/credit card payments, wire transfers, and foreign currency exchange.
  • Document large deposits and identify potential fraudulent activity to prevent loss to the bank.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient completion of financial transactions, adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and cultivate new customer relationships.
  • Cross-sell and refer products that fit clients' needs, such as wealth management and mortgage services.
  • Stay up-to-date on digital resources and technologies to optimize clients' digital banking experience.
  • Educate clients on conducting banking transactions online, via mobile app, and self-service portals.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • 1 year of recent customer service and cash handling experience.
  • 1 year of previous teller/new account experience in a banking institution preferred.
  • Ability to learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends when needed.
