About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Associate Personal Banker to join our National Branch Network team in Monterey, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, building relationships, and providing personalized banking solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through proactive outreach and personalized service.
  • Provide customers with tailored banking solutions, including product and service recommendations, to help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Assist customers with basic requests, such as opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our bank's products and services to effectively connect with customers' needs.
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build trust, providing a positive and memorable experience.
  • Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed, ensuring seamless support and solutions.
Requirements:
  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
  • Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email.
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options.
  • Ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate.
  • Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs.
  • Experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners.
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members.
