MVP Recruitment is collaborating with a distinguished non-profit organization dedicated to delivering exceptional home care, hospice, and palliative care services in search of their next Chief Clinical Operations Officer.

Role Summary: In the capacity of Chief Clinical Operations Officer, you will be instrumental in managing the clinical programs of the organization. This encompasses strategizing, coordinating, and supervising the provision of home care and hospice services. As a member of the Senior Management team, you will aid in establishing strategic goals to ensure the organization upholds high-quality services that comply with regulatory standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the President, Board of Directors, and Senior Management to outline strategic goals.
  • Oversee the coordination, organization, and evaluation of clinical services.
  • Align operational strategies with the overarching goals of the organization.
  • Act as the organization's representative in external engagements.
  • Develop and manage budgets in partnership with the Vice President of Finance/CFO.
  • Guide clinical directors in utilizing performance metrics for effective team management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and Conditions of Participation (COPs).
  • Supervise clinical education, orientation programs, and emergency preparedness.
  • Evaluate clinical practices and implement new initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Participate in board meetings, generate reports, and be available for agency emergencies.

Managerial Duties:

  • Directly oversee a team of seven clinical leaders, including Clinical Directors for Home Care and Hospice, Clinical Specialty Programs Manager, and Quality Assurance and Education Manager.
  • Encourage open communication and foster a culture of respect among all staff members.
  • Work with HR to ensure sufficient staffing, training, and safety compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license or Therapy License (PT, OT, SLP).
  • Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • A minimum of ten years of leadership experience in home care and/or hospice services.
  • Extensive managerial experience in community health nursing.
  • Thorough understanding of Medicare Conditions of Participation.
