We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Representative to join our team at Safran Helicopter Engines. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance to our customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive workscope documents to ensure accurate and efficient repair or overhaul of engines, modules, and FCU/HMU's.
- Provide technical assistance to customer service personnel and MRO technicians to ensure understanding of operations and instructions within the workscope.
- Perform logbook reviews to validate and update time counters for tracked components and identify additional maintenance interventions.
- Create workscopes with identification of necessary operations and special instructions based on engine, module, or FCU/HMU configuration and reason for return.
- Assist customer service in reviewing workscopes with customers and proposing alternative solutions in accordance with technical documentation.
- Collaborate with technical support engineers to analyze data and provide options to customers through the customer support department.
- Develop and revise workscopes based on discoveries made during disassembly and/or metrology, or from analysis of particle samples.
- Write technical reports to document inspection results, failure origins, and performance data.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify modifications, clarifications, or process changes to improve workscope effectiveness and minimize overprocessing.
- 5 years of technical experience in the Aviation Power Plant Industry.
- Certificate from a college or technical school in aviation technology preferred.
- 3 years of detailed part inspection experience with good knowledge of current repair manual criteria related to part inspection.
- Power plant certificate preferred.
- Intermediate Level – Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plus significant knowledge and experience with SAP required.
- Mechanical/technical/interpersonal skills adapted to the unique requirements of the organization.

- Frequently required to stand.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
