About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Specialist to join our team at Providence Service. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Excellent Patient Care: Greet patients warmly, answer phone calls, and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage Scheduling and Records: Coordinate patient appointments, maintain accurate records, and ensure seamless communication between patients, staff, and providers.
  • Collect and Process Payments: Accurately collect co-pays, process payments, and maintain a secure and organized payment system.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Assist with clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, and mail distribution, to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Experience: Familiarity with EMR systems and ability to navigate electronic records with ease.
  • Healthcare Experience: Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
