Job Title: Control Project Manager

At G-TECH Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Control Project Manager to lead our control work and resources on allocated projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement Control Schemes: Develop and implement established control schemes based on client requirements, ensuring compliance with all customer and/or other pertaining specifications.
  • Design and Review: Prepare and review control designs and related control specifications, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project internal buyoffs.
  • Project Coordination: Organize and control all designated engineering, concepts, proposals, layouts, details, and reviews these with the customer, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Commissioning and Startup: Commission and startup control systems in the field, ensuring smooth integration and minimal downtime.
  • Travel and Customer Support: Travel for service, installation, start-up, and debug for complete integration at the customer's site, attending to customer requirements and taking minutes of customer meetings.
  • Engineering Compliance: Ensure engineering compliance with all customer and/or other pertaining specifications, ensuring company awareness to specifications.
  • Budget Control: Control the Engineering/Project Controls budget, ensuring designs are cost-effective and align with project objectives.
  • Safety and Environmental: Understand and follow safety & environmental regulations, identifying safety/environmental concerns and ensuring compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead entire control work and resources of allocated project, communicating with control engineers in Korea as required.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training for entry control project engineers, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
Requirements:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in electric engineering, with spoken and written Korean required.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge on PLC programming languages, operator interface programming languages, and hardware design, with experience in PLC control design for automotive body shop tooling.
  • Experience: Over 10 years of electric control related experience at automotive company or automation tooling company, with excellent organization skills, strong teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Software Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Auto-Cad.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cultural Competence: Ability to work within multi-cultural, globally based teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Global Ford or GM standard (PLC, Controls Drawing) and OHSA standard.

Travel: This position often requires out of town and overnight travel.
