About the Role

ColumbiaCare Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality behavioral health services. We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Specialist will work as part of a direct care team, supporting adults with serious mental illness in a residential setting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting residents in developing life skills and therapeutic interventions
  • Performing housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Administering medication as prescribed
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

Vocational Training Program

As a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA), you will have access to our Vocational Training Program, which provides additional training and support to help you achieve your certification goals.

About the Program

Alder Creek is a 6-bed licensed Residential Treatment Facility located in Oregon. Our program serves six adults discharged from the Oregon State Hospital, providing residential care and treatment to prepare them for transition back into their communities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be eligible for QMHA registration
  • Have a valid Oregon driver's license and a safe driving record
  • Pass a DHS criminal background check
