About the Role

Fora Health is seeking a skilled Part Time Nurse RN to join our team in Portland, Oregon. As a behavioral health specialist, you will provide critical support and care for patients in our dual diagnosis and withdrawal management programs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing support, assessment, and care for patients in our dual diagnosis and withdrawal management programs
  • Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and address clinical and non-clinical issues
  • Support admission and medical staff in screenings for potential admissions for medical appropriateness
  • Maintain accurate records and necessary paperwork that meets industry standards
  • Perform related tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license
  • Current BLS CPR & 1st Aid Certification
  • 2+ years of experience in behavioral healthcare and 1+ year of direct patient care
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders, family dynamics, and community systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents
  • Strong organization and attention to detail skills
