Position Overview: Radiologic Imaging Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize MRI technology to capture detailed cross-sectional images of patients for diagnostic evaluation.
  • Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Clearly communicate procedures to patients and address any inquiries they may have.
  • Accurately position patients and modify equipment settings to achieve optimal imaging results.
  • Examine and assess images to ensure high standards of clarity and quality.
  • Maintain comprehensive patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver precise diagnostic information.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and operational guidelines for MRI equipment.
Required Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
Preferred Skills:
  • In-depth understanding of MRI technology and imaging methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and patient care abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Shift Details:
  • Flexible shifts, including potential weekend and on-call duties.
  • Willingness to adapt scheduling to meet departmental requirements.
Additional Requirements:
  • Prior experience in the role of MRI Tech is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting MRI machinery.
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional patient care.
