Exciting Opportunity for a Radiologic Technologist at Nebraska Pain Institute

We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to enhance our dynamic pain management clinic. If you are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and possess the required qualifications, we encourage you to consider this role.

Primary Duties:

  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by clearly explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
  • Accurately position patients and proficiently operate C Arm imaging equipment.
  • Implement safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for both patients and staff.
  • Adjust imaging equipment settings to achieve optimal results and conduct thorough x-ray examinations.
  • Monitor patients and equipment during procedures, promptly addressing any concerns with the supervising physician.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of imaging procedures in patient files.

In addition to patient interaction, you will oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of the imaging room and equipment. This includes performing quality assurance checks and maintaining accurate documentation.

  • Quickly address any equipment malfunctions and adhere to established protocols for reporting issues.
  • Work collaboratively with the Office Supervisor and service providers to ensure timely resolution of equipment challenges.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, candidates must have completed an accredited radiologic technologist program and possess current certification from the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT). A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also mandatory.
