Job Summary

Martin Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Developmental Disabilities Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing administrative and support services for our ADVP, PSR, Innovations Waiver, and CLFS programs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Developmental Disabilities Services Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining Person Centered Plans for program participants, collaborating with clients, their families/guardians, and support staff to document client status, needs, and develop objectives.
  • Maintaining accurate service records, submitting completed Person Centered Plans and Treatment Authorization Requests to MCO/LME, and collaborating with billing specialists to monitor billing claims and authorization approvals/denials.
  • Providing supervision for support staff, offering interventions/strategies for PCP objectives, and ensuring staff understands and follows agency policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating staff work schedules, ensuring authorized hours of service are worked each week, and conducting meetings with clients and staff to address questions/problems, plan events, and relay information related to service provision.
  • Collaborating with support staff to coordinate enrichment/leisure activities, trips, and social functions for clients, counseling clients in identifying and resolving social, behavioral, and other problems, and consulting with clients, staff, and the Executive Director concerning effective programs for individual clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, a four-year college degree in a human service field (preferred), and a minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness, and/or substance abuse issues.
  • Computer literacy and good communication skills.
  • A driver's license and a good driving record.
  • The ability to embrace the philosophies of normalization and person-centered programming.
